InfoMentor, an Icelandic based company will be part of the first UK Nordic and Baltic Summit where the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and 8 leaders from participating countries will be exchanging ideas and promoting shared values on 3 key areas of policy, including technology and innovation. This meeting will bring together people with diverse and complementary ideas and InfoMentor are delighted to be contributing.
InfoMentor is pleased to announce a joint venture between InfoMentor in Iceland and WebBased Ltd in the UK, forming InfoMentor UK Ltd which will be based in London creating new jobs. This joint venture will build on knowledge from Iceland, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, to achieve the best outcomes for learners and will deliver cost effective tools to help students fulfill their life ambitions.
InfoMentor is a leading provider of an online school solution to manage information and promote learning in schools across Iceland and Sweden. InfoMentor data tools provide opportunities for individualised and collaborative learning as well as assessment. It offers opportunities for student and parental engagement. InfoMentor is used in almost all primary schools in Iceland and over 700 schools in Sweden and is increasingly being used across Europe.
WebBased Ltd provides online tools for schools and Local Authorities in the UK. Their 11-19 Solutions provides cost effective applications for Local Authorities, schools and training providers helping them improve learning and to raise standards. CPD Online is used by 27 Local Authorities to promote, manage, monitor and modernise Professional Development across the Children's workforce.
InfoMentor are delighted to be working with WebBased Ltd to develop a joint solution by sharing best practice and knowledge from Scandinavia, Switzerland and the UK in order to improve life chances for children and young people by raising standards.
