Our approach and beginnings

With a background in teaching, Local Authority management and programming, the vision for WebBased has always been to create online software that makes learning and work easier whilst helping to save money.

This is what we have been doing for over 15 years, supporting Local Authorities, Teaching Schools and MATs to do more and do it better whilst saving millions a year.

What makes us different

We know that one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we have a flexible range of modules that work on their own or can be integrated together allowing you to deliver and support great workforce development and trade online.

Our team

The success of any organisation is rooted in its people. We pride ourselves on our professional, experienced and dedicated team who are always happy to go the extra mile to support you, understand your challenges and ultimately build a solution that saves you time and money.

Modern Slavery

WebBased will never tolerate slavery and human trafficking in any form.

We are committed to creating a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment. Everyone has the right to feel safe at work and to be able to report any concern without fear of repercussion. Our recruitment and people processes ensure that all employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and safeguarded from harm. We will not enter business with any organisation or business which knowingly is involved in modern slavery.

Due to the nature of our operation, we are at minimal risk, but we are vigilant and will investigate any concerns thoroughly.

  • All suppliers are risk assessed before issuing any contracts.
  • We provide a safe mechanism for whistleblowing and reporting any concerns.
  • We provide training to staff on the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Ensuring that Modern Slavery is an agenda item at Board meetings.
  • Continuing to monitor and assess the supply chain.
