The South East Wales Consortium is delighted to announce the live release of the CPD SEWales CV Builder. During the development of this feature the Consortium has worked very closely with the GTCW to ensure that the system reflects the key aim of GTCW to introduce a standardised, web-based Electronic Personal Development Record for all teaching staff in Wales. The new feature is easy to use and will securely store all the information that members of teaching staff wish to keep about themselves and to make writing CVs straightforward.

The CV Builder has a number of key benefits including:

  • Helping teaching staff to take ownership of their CPD and careers
  • Helping teaching staff to ensure that recording is kept to a minimum, with no duplication or unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Giving teaching staff a means to draw evidence from one place for:
    – National standards such as Induction, Threshold, Headship
    – Performance Management
    – APL towards Academic / Professional qualifications
  • The ability for staff to store & develop their CV, CPD records and related documents in one area
  • The opportunity to easily produce a professional standard CV in a range of style

The CV Builder can be found under the ‘My CPD Online’ area once logged in.
